Empathy in parent-child relationships

I enjoyed reading this article as it brings to the fore the importance of empathy rather than judgement in a parent-child relationship. With a better understanding (empathy) of what your child is going through in his/her development the more likely you will be supportive, patient and help your child rather than judge and be punitive towards your child.
